(Book 4)
After countless delays James Swift is finally designing and building the aerial warship commissioned by The Air Ministry. The task will be the most difficult James has ever undertaken. The dynamics of air combat are yet to be discovered. Not only must he design the airship but it's weapons as well. The difficulty of the task will drive James to the edge of madness. The criminal spy organization, The Syndicate, determined to stop James, is resorting to kidnapping, sabotage, and murder. Adding to the chaos is the pending marriage of James' best friend and confidant Charles Newton to Sandra Swift, James' sister. James finds inspiration from an English battle from the past and discovers a spy in their very midst who has been a source of their problems. James' aerial warship gets a trial by fire when it is surrounded by more than a dozen enemy airships and must defend itself against multiple threats. James Swift and his Aerial Warship is a sensational romp through 19th century technology and society. Like its predecessors it is lavishly illustrated and the steam punk inventions can be printed out on a 3d printer.
